Major Albert J. 'Ajax' Baumler hands over command of the 74th Fighter Squadron to
Captain John D. Lombard upon the former's departure for the USA. Baumler had commanded
the 74th from December 11th, 1942 to February 18th, 1943 and had also served with the 75th.
