This GI had his photo taken with a P-40E-1 at Key Field during early or mid 1942.

Boss Bird


A P-40N wearing squadron commander's stripes on the rear fuselage on the ramp at Key Field
during late 1943 or 1944. This ship may be from the 75th Tactical Reconnaissance Group.

Family Model


TP-40N 42-105927 served with the RTU at Key Field and was involved in a taxiing accident
on May 6th, 1944, though I don't know if this photo was taken at Key or elsewhere. Or when.

In this shot, '927' is seen post-war in her early days on display at NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
