A Yank in the RCAF

Hollis 'Holly' Hills was one of many Americans serving with the RCAF prior to the USA's
entry into the war. He eventually scored 414 Squadron's first aerial victory, an Fw 190
during the Dieppe raid, albeit after the outfit had converted to the North American Mustang.
After his tour with 414 Squadron was up, Hills then joined the US Navy and went on to
score another four victories in the Pacific Theater to become an 'Ace'.
