P-40L 42-10715 was operated by the 344th Bombardment Squadron, 98th Bombardment Group
as a hack, though I do not know if this photo was taken during her time with the
bomber boys or while still operated by her former owners, whomever they may have been.

She suffered a landing accident on December 8th, 1943 at Brindisi Airfield, Italy
while flown by Joseph H. Campbell, presumably of the 344th Bombardment Squadron.
