All Gave Some... Some Gave All...

Three pilots with a 55th Pursuit Squadron P-40D or E. The fella on the right, leaning
against the wing, is Major Roy M. Loe who later rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel
and served as the XO of the 82nd Fighter Group. He was shot down and killed on January
8th, 1943 while flying a P-38 of the 97th FS during a bomber escort mission over Tunisia.
