The SC-2 could be most easily distinguished from the SC-1 by a revised engine cowling,
bubble canopy, radio mast located aft of the cockpit, and a small window for an interior
cabin on the fuselage, also just aft of the cockpit. This SC-2 is configured with fixed
wheeled landing gear for operation from land bases. Just nine SC-2s were completed.
