Curtiss O-40 Raven

The Raven prototype, YO-40 serial number 32-343, first flew in February of 1932.

She crashed later that year, on May 20th, but was rebuilt as the YO-40A
with an enclosed cockpit. This ship was flown as part of the test fleet at
Wright Field until she was retired and scrapped in 1938.

One of four Y1O-40Bs built. I believe that this ship is either 32-416 or 32-418.
She was photographed on May 11th, 1935 while serving with the
12th Observation Squadron at Brooks Field, Texas.
