C-46A 42-101152
C-46A 42-101152 is seen here at an unknown (to me) location sometime in 1944.
She would later serve with the ATC in the CBI, acquiring the name of 'Stork', though I do not
know if there was any artwork to go along with the name. She went missing on February 9th, 1945
during a flight from Kunming, China to Chabua, India while assigned to the 1333rd AAFBU. The
crew, 2Lt. Cleo W. Byrd (pilot), Capt. R.D. Ward (co-pilot), and TSgt. Julius Ginsberg (radio op)
are still listed as missing as of July 2019. You can see all three pages of MACR 12026 below.
